Gavin Grindon
Gavin Grindon is currently a researcher and lecturer in visual culture at Kingston and Goldsmiths Universities in London, where he is writing a book about the history of the idea of revolution-as-festival from the avant-garde to contemporary social movements. He has been involved in a number of art/activist projects, most recently the Great Rebel Raft Regatta at the 2008 Climate Camp. He is a member of the Creative Resistance Research Network.

Rodrigo Nunes
Rodrigo Nunes, philosopher, has lived for the last decade between Brazil and the UK, where he finished a PhD on 'Immanence and philosophy in Foucault and Deleuze' at Goldsmiths College, University of London. In this period, he has been involved (as organiser and popular educator) in various projects and initiatives such as the organisation of the first editions of the World Social Forum, the Justice for Cleaners campaign, and the Frassanito network. He is a member of the editorial collective of Turbulence - Ideas for movement.

Michael Parker
At 17, Michael Paerker moved to California from New York, and like many before him, he's stayed, even after the illusion of the frontier was broken. He traveled for half a decade between his BA and MFA, on constant 24, 48 and 72 hour shifts throughout Los Angeles County. He is thinking about traveling abroad after deliberations tis month in Sabbathday Lake, Maine.

Mark Vallianatos is Policy Director of the Urban & Environmental Policy Institute (UEPI) at Occidental College, where he has worked on projects to improve access to healthy food in schools and low-income neighborhoods. Asiya Wadud
Born in Washington, DC, Asiya Wadud is interested in the various implications of a project such as Forage Oakland, and hopes that, along with other neighborhood interventions, it can serve as a model for a more playful way of meeting one's neighbors and sharing our unused resources. She is interested in exploring gift and barter economies as they relate to the communal exchange of fruit, and is also interested in alternative geographies, i.e. mapping the location of fruit trees in urban communities.
